The Periodic Table Of SEO

I was checking up on some SEO news this morning and found this periodic table put together by Search Engine Land.

Looks good to me although I think they could of expanded of the negative dark side. Where is the crimson tile for malware, duplicate content or user-generated spam.

Mobile Friendly Sites

Myself like many other webmasters, today received a notification from Google about some pages on some site are not mobile friendly. They are starting to emit such pages from search results on mobiles devices. Last year it was SSL and now it seems like mobile sites are now going to become a must-have for any website.

Here is the message from Google...

Fix mobile usability issues

To: webmaster of http://www.domain.com/

Google systems have tested 3,420 pages from your site and found that 100% of them have critical mobile usability errors. The errors on these 3,420 pages severely affect how mobile users are able to experience your website. These pages will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users.
